Hire Our Award-Winning Grainstore Kitchen Restaurant

The Grainstore Kitchen can hold up to 130 for a sit-down meal (with a dance floor and DJ/Band) or 160 for a more casual buffet.

If you would like to hire the Grainstore Kitchen without food or drink packages, please let us know at the time of booking as there is opportunities to hire the space for such things as meetings or training sessions.

If you require food and drink at your event, Grainstore Kitchen will supply both, working with you on a menu that suits your needs.

If you require alcohol, Mead Open Farm is fully licensed until 1am and has a number of drinks packages. Challenge 25 will operate during any events with alcohol.

Please note, no outside caterers are allowed when hiring the Grainstore Kitchen.

At Mead Open Farm we offer an all-inclusive entertainment package for your event that includes a light-up dance floor, a DJ/band and full lighting production. We can also discuss packages that include access to our indoor play.

If you would like to supply your own entertainment, please let us know at the time of booking. All suppliers will need a risk assessment and public liability insurance covering up to 10 million where applicable.

Other than food and drink and/or entertainment packages, Mead Open Farm will supply all staff including waiters and duty management.

You can decorate your event within reason, with no decoration causing any damage to the restaurant or its fixtures and fittings.

You can access the Grainstore Kitchen from 5pm to decorate and set up and all decoration must be removed that same evening.

Please note, if any decorations cause damage you will be liable to pay.

Unfortunately, the Grainstore Kitchen and Mead Open Farm cannot hold weddings or 18th birthday celebrations.
