Annual Membership Terms & Conditions
By taking out a Mead Open Farm Annual Membership you accept these terms and conditions of use.
- If you are paying for your Membership by monthly Direct Debit you are committing to paying 2 months on the day of purchase and a minimum of 10 monthly consecutive payments. Payments will continue to be taken until you cancel your Direct Debit with your Bank or Building Society. The date we take your first Direct Debit will be on or around the same date you purchased the membership 1 month later.
- The charge date (the date of which your direct debit is collected from your bank) can change. In the event of this we will give written warning prior to the change.
- If any Direct Debit is returned unpaid or if any other form of payment is not honoured for whatever reason we reserve the right to terminate your membership subscription immediately.
- A Membership is only valid when presented by the named Member as in accordance to our membership database Misuse will result in the Membership being withdrawn.
- Each Member will be issued his or her own Membership in their own name.
- Memberships are not transferable and non-refundable. They cannot be sold or given away to a third party.
- The authorised Member must show their Membership via a card or on the app at the Entrance each time they visit Mead Open Farm.
- Failure to have a valid Membership will result in a charge of the ‘on the day’ admission rate.
- Lost Membership Cards should be reported to Mead Open Farm immediately. In the event of a lost Membership Card, Mead Open Farm will not reissue cards now and your membership if valid will be loaded onto the app.
- Visitors aged 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- Screengrabs or Photocopies of Membership will not be accepted.
- Events and opening is subject to change without notice and no refunds are given should the Farm close due to circumstances beyond its control.
- All Memberships remain the property of Mead Open Farm and can be withdrawn in the event of fraud and misuse. This includes, but is not limited to, allowing a third party to attempt to gain access to Mead Open Farm with a Membership of which they are not the valid holder.
- Membership cannot be used in conjunction with any promotional offer or voucher. And any booking fees, benefits and discounts listed on our website are subject to change at any time.
- Child Membership starts when a child is 18 months old. When applying for a Child Membership, an adult’s name and address MUST be supplied for all correspondence.
- All correspondence, cards and mailings will only be sent to the lead adult name and address given on this application form. If your information changes, please let us know on [email protected]
- For your security, a photograph must be taken when you purchase Membership on site at Mead Open Farm. The photo can be uploaded when they purchase the membership or will be taken upon entry.Please note, the photo will only be used for the purpose of verification.
- Extra charges may apply for some seasonal special events. These include Christmas however the list is not exhaustive.
- If Direct Debit agreements are cancelled prior to the 12-month agreed period, this facility will be withdrawn for any future use to this customer and Memberships will need to be purchased outright.
- For 2024, High Ropes and climbing wall are open daily in February Half Term, Easter Holidays, May Half term, Summer holidays and October Half Term. During term-time from April – October, it will operate on weekends only? We follow Bedfordshire schools term dates.
- £5 friend tickets for memberships valid from after 3pm midweek during term-time only. Each member can bring multiple friends, with each friend paying £5 per ticket. Mead Open Farm follows Bedfordshire term-time dates.
- The amount payable on the day varied depending on when you visit. Seniors are classed as 60 or over and all disabled guests are entitled to bring a carer for free but must provide a DLA or PIP as proof for entry.
- Memberships are subject to annual review.
- Membership starts from 18 months old.
- A carer under the Disabled Plus Carer Membership must be ages 16 or older.
- Mead Open Farms opening hours are 10am-5pm with last entry at 4pm.
- Mead Open will always inform you of any changes in advance to your membership by email or on this page.
- Mead Open Farm reserves the right to change terms and conditions and as a minimum will review these annually.

- Your direct debit date will start on the day you take out your membership. You cannot change this date once your membership has started.
