Sheep Racing - Daily from 2 Apr to 31 Oct
From April to October, watch Mead Open Farm's own 'Lamb National', with 3 new mini jumps for 2010. With a twist on the famous Grand National jumps, they are called Shearers Brook, The Duck Pond Turn and the Woolly Chair.
Combined with miniature jockeys and individual racing colours, it's an event not to miss. Plus guess the winning sheep and take home a golden badge!

Ferret Racing - every weekend from 2 April until 31 October
Cute, fluffy and very fast, Wacky Ferret Races are on every weekend.
Called Mutley, Red Max, Penelope, Rufus and Ring-A-Ding, the eager five will zoom through pipes and cross bridges for this fun race challenge.
Sheep Racing Colouring Competition
Congratulations to 3 year old Mia Damigos, who has won the June Sheep Racing Colouring Competition.
It's easy to enter. Just pick up a flag at the daily Sheep Race at Mead Open Farm, colour in the picture and send your entry to the farm before the end of the month. The winner will feature on this page in the following month.
